“Adult: 15mg to 30mg once daily, or as prescribed by the physician. Not to be used with Type I diabetes or diabetic acidosis. Hypoglycemia; premenopausal anovulatory patients with insulin resistance and in those patients with active gall bladder cancer. The benefits of blood sugar control with Pioglitazone should be weighed against the unknown risk for cancer recurrence.”
