“It is possible to treat symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, rashes on the skin, and eye redness. It is a piperidine derivative and a long-acting, non-sedating second-generation histamine receptor antagonist that binds primarily to peripheral H1 receptors. Carebastine, an active metabolite, is created during its metabolism. It contains antihistaminic and antiallergic effects and lessens bronchoconstriction brought on by histamine. Both sedative and antimuscarinic effects are absent.”
